Sweet Reversal

Sweet Reversal is the story of Cassidy Sabrina Orlando a successful thirty something who searches for love after being left at the altar. To add insult to injury, she finds out her biggest enemy has taken her ex-fiance and married him. They goad her at work and Cassidy gets violent and is fired. Cassidy decides it is time to leave New York and give herself a little break.
When Cassidy finds out why her fiancé left her, she flees New York and decides to go back to her roots in Tampa, Florida, to plan her future.

Cassidy isn’t in town a day before she finds out that her childhood crush, Brick Slade, is coming back to town to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As a child, Cassidy was the overweight girl who wore glasses and braces and battled acne on and off during high school. To add insult to injury, Cassidy and her mother and sister were very poor and lived in the run down trailer park on the outskirts of town. Brick was the town’s football star and was showered with everything and anything he needed growing up. As was expected, he dated Veronica Hightower, the mayor’s pretty and popular daughter.

When she returns to town, Cassidy is no longer the ugly duckling. She is a beautiful and wealthy swan. She is surprised by the chilly reception that she receives from her mother and other town folks. It is a direct contrast to the big welcome parade that everyone is planning for the return of their favorite son, Brick Slade.

Cassidy must learn why everyone in town hates her and figure out if she wants to go after Brick Slade and if she does will she even win his heart and his hand?
