I have enjoyed reading another one of Tag Powell Who is...? book series about potential political candidate for the Presidential elections of 2016. This one is about Senator Elizabeth Warren. The author does a great unbiased job of describing the life of Senator Warren, her family and origins, her education and career as an attorney and professor. What I like best is Powell ways of presenting the evolution of the Senator's life and making us see the essence of the character and beliefs upon which Warren has build her political career . She is a well known for caring and defending the hard working middle class at every chance she gets. She has denied any rumors saying that she would be a candidate to run against Clinton in 2016, deceiving lots of her followers...will she reverse her decision? One thing is sure though, after reading this book, it is easy to see that she possesses all tools and baggage necessary to become a front runner for the Democratic party nomination.
Overall, the book is well written, has an unbiased approach, presenting us a portrait of Warren with the facts. It's a very informative reading that I would highly recommend to anyone interested in American politics. Keep them coming Mr. Powell, we love reading them!

As the political landscape for presidential campaign has been evolving, I am trying to get to know the potential candidates so I may absorb their TV utterances in proper context. Reading about Sen. Warren started with this goal in mind.
However, my reading quickly evolved into reading a life story of an all American story of American dream.I sure was not aware that the senator's nickname is Betsy until I read the book. Being raised in a poor family, this awesome lady has grown into a famous lady championing the cause of poor and middle class. The book is very laudatory but does not shy away from bringing up controversies surrounding the senator including her lineage.
Highly recommended.
