Changing Tides

Derek has to experience what so many others will have to live through, the death of his parents. Living with his father his entire life, Derek is now forced to enter a world parallel to his own, living with a family estranged from his own. His struggle in coping with his own life, however, brings new people into his life, people he'd otherwise never meet.
