The New World of Islam - Muslim Gangsters

The New World of Islam were gangsters and bank robbers of the highest order in Newark, New Jersey in the 70s and 80s. Their sect practiced black separatism and through their criminal misdeeds they were trying to fund and build their own community. Though they didn’t accomplish all they wanted and many of their members went to prison, they are still thriving today as a religious group, focusing on the empowerment of their race.
