About the Authors

Ramona M. Pinckney is a wife, mother, and grandmother who is dedicated to helping others overcome the devastating effects of sexual abuse. Molested at a young age, Pinckney boldly shares her journey to freedom after many years of depression, shame, and guilt. She came to realize that life was worth living after her own personal encounter with Jesus in a hospital restroom recovering from a second suicide attempt. Using the story of the Samaritan woman at the well as a backdrop, Ms. Pinckney discusses key areas of a woman's life in service to Christ.

Ms. Pinckney is passionate about seeing women rise from adversity to live fulfilling, empowered lives. As a speaker and mentor, she has a powerful ability to connect with others exactly where they are in their healing process and helping to equip them with the tools needed to overcome adversity. She has earned several degrees including an Associate of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Bible. In 2014, she completed a Master of Arts in Ministry, Pastoral Studies.
