Union Ships of the Line: The Return of the Seven Sisters

This is a story about heavily armed artificial life forms raised to serve the galactic Union. These autonomous sentient star ships ensure justice and freedom for all sentient species in the galaxy. The Union was formed over seven billion years ago by three great races to protect the weak from the strong and bring an end to slavery. Over the next half a billion years the first three great races brought in five more great races. It was the Sixth Race, to join the Union, that designed and built these defenders of the galaxy officially known as the Seven Sisters.

The Sisters became legends across the galaxy. No enemy of the Union could stand against them. Their weapons were superior to any weapon ever developed. The Seven Sisters have enforced Galactic Law with honor and integrity since they were commissioned in the Union Navy – four and half billion years ago. They continued to perform their noble purpose even after losing two of their own – and after the Union began to collapse 200 million years ago...

Author's note: This is the first book in what will be a continuing story. I developed these characters for a dream sequence in my first novel. Fortunately for me - Steven King's book on writing was available in Kindle format and I realized my first 2 novels were not ready – so I unpublished them. I then started writing a 3rd novel which was a story about a “Star Plumber”. I soon came to the conclusion that I could integrate my 3rd story into a much larger story about my sentient – autonomous battleships. Thank you Mr. King for writing your book on writing.
