Looking and Seeing, Volume I of Way of Seeing is an introductory manual for Nalanda Miksang Contemplative Photography. Nalanda Miksang is a course of study that uses Shambhala Buddhist teachings to discover our already-existing connection with our world through photography. A combination of a philosophical treatise and a playful exploration of our visual world, this first volume of three starts the journey. Through studying Looking and Seeing, Flash of Perception, Synchronization, we explore structured assignments to free the eyes and mind in photography.
