This is a true story, but it never happened. This is a story about stories. My story, and maybe your story. It's a lie but only because it's truer than the truth. This isn't about deceit though. I don't want to lie to you. I want to make the truth so hot that it burns you, the same way it burned me. That's the thing about remembering: it means you didn't forget.
