Gus Graham was a farm boy born in Wahoo Nebraska. His father was part time town marshal and raised him in a Christian manner. He grew to a man and drifted to New Orleans where working the docks and frequenting the saloons hardened him into a man. The Spanish American War forged him into a weapon and Cuba softened him in the arms of a women. He drifted into the low mountains of southern Arizona territory in 1909 on his way to California and fate stepped in. He became the sheriff of the wildest county in the territory.
