Stefan is minding his own business when Damon shows up in Mystic Falls to warn him not to approach the doppelganger that looks like Katherine. Stefan wants to know how Damon knows about her but before he can get more answers they are both captured and taken to an unknown location. After being threatened and blackmailed they decide they have no choice but to help the man who calls himself Elijah. When they start to carry out their mission as hired help they soon realize things are not what they seem and they have been lied to about what the mission is really for. Now they must dodge werewolf bites, a witch, and an original vampire who is counting on them to complete their mission that is full of twists and turns as both Damon and Stefan fight to come out of everything alive.
