A Thousand and One Notable Nativities (1001) - "The Astrologer's Who's Who" (Astrological Manual No. 11)

Most of the horoscopes in this book are indexed under the native's surname, and only exceptionally under title or rank. but this rule has not been followed universally. Therefore, it is advisable to look for Cardinals, Popes, Princes, etc. under C, P, etc., as well as under christian or surname. Where the native is a Duke, or of Royal blood, look also under dukedom or country. Thus, Nicholas 11., Czar of Russia, is indexed under K, the Prince Imperial tinder P, Rudolf of Austria under A, the Duke of Sforzia under S. Foreign and Indian names should be looked for under both christian and surname. Possible variations of names should also be borne in mind, e.g., Giulio for Julius, Hieronymus for Jerome, etc., eto. Sometimes a map which cannot be found under one name or title may be indexed under another. For example, the Princess Stephanie of Belgium became the Crown Princess of Austria by marrying the Archduke Rudolf.
