EOBI's Pension Scheme: Leading Issues: Social Security Pension in Pakistan: Development and Protection

The book is regarding social security pension scheme of Pakistan .It describes its management and administration, contributions and benefits, investment of surplus funds including two financial scams etc. It discusses the restrictions placed on pensionary benefits through the amendments of the year 2005 .Neither the contribution rates are being increased which are technically required, nor pensionary benefits are being increased (except the minimum pension increased to Rs. 5200 recently),minimum and maximum pensionary amounts being $ 51 and $ 59 respectively. The social security pension plant is apprehended to wither away due to lack of scientific development.
