Description
An easy to read book that is designed to help people understand exactly how our bodies process food and how this simple knowledge can lead to a better understanding of ourselves and a healthier life.
"The most interesting piece of information that I took away from Gina was... to EAT! In a society obsessed with what NOT to eat... it's a breath of fresh air to hear from a Dietitian with a strong scientific background that meat, dairy and fats are NOT the enemy! Food is for eating! Hooray! ... I have a much better opinion of dietitians now."
"Gina has done an amazing job of really pulling the reader in and actually being interested in reading and learning about nutrition. She has made it fun and exciting, I actually couldn't put the book down. I feel after reading this book that I have a much stronger grasp on the role nutrients play in my body and feel already that I am in a better place to make appropriate choices about what I eat/drink. This is a great book for absolutely anyone to read, it is an easy fun read that can really help you learn something. This would also be an excellent book for nutrition or biochemistry students to read to get a general feel for things before delving into all that confusing stuff their teachers are going to try to make them understand." - M.Robertson
