Rebranding Pain

Life is like a swimming pool filled with piss, and every day is just another lap.

We are all suffering through this hell called creation, and yet, nobody seems to know why. Unfortunately, a depressed populace doesn't make for a prosperous economy, so the government, being the caring tyrant that it is, decided to investigate the root cause of Britain's misery, and find a solution to it.

What is the solution? To rebrand pain. If the human brain could be rewired to receive a painful stimulus as pleasurable, everyone would be happy with their mundane lives in this corrupt and broken country.

Surely that would be too crazy to work, right? For most people, yes. But not for one individual, who, in a moment of painful vulnerability, discovers that insanity is the only savior mankind has left.
