On The Road: Short story with thrills and adventures

Jim was a twenty years old boy. His house was near a road. That road was not very busy and traffic on that road was not predictable. Jim was able to see the road from his window. His room was not very big however the window was in the direction of road due to which Jim was able to have a clear view of the road. There was a ground in front of the window. One end of the ground was starting at the house of Jim while the other end was on the road. The ground had fences around it and it was populated in the day time however in the night time there were very few or no people in the ground.
