The Conjured Vengeance of Anne Boleyn

The death of Anne Boleyn was not all it seemed. In the hours before her delayed execution she made a pact with Gueron, a mysterious and well-travelled old man, brought to her by sheer Fate; a deal that would have allowed her to come back from the dead and reap revenge on her accusers and betrayers. But it was not fulfilled. Boleyn was not resurrected and those who betrayed her continued with their lives, taking their fringe places in the depths of history. 

Nearly five hundred years later Daniel Somerset, a troubled thief with a recently resurfaced family problem, accepts a final job from his erudite employer, Alistair: access Boleyn’s displaced grave beneath the Tower of London and retrieve the valuable jewels she was allegedly buried with. Yet, opening her grave inadvertently completes the ritual started by Gueron centuries before and the spectre of Anne Boleyn is unleashed. Is her conjured vengeance wholly lost? Perhaps not...
