Crossing the Line: Taryn Callendar

"Crossing the Line" is a contemporary tale of a single woman taking a chance on love. This is the story of Leslie: an attractive, successful African American woman living in Washington, D.C. She has a strong circle of friends and family and believes that she is happy and content with her life and not in search of Mr. Right like so many of her friends.
A chance encounter on an airplane leads Leslie to a great guy, smart, attractive, fun and kind: everything that she's been looking for in an African American man, except this man is white. At first, Leslie is reluctant to date Josh because she's concerned about other people's reaction. Despite her initial misgivings, they develop a strong and loving relationship, then family members and so-called friends make their true feelings known about their interracial relationship and Leslie has to decide if being with Josh is worth it.
