The Wright Brothers - First in Flight

Young Orville and Wilbur Wright loved constructing things. From the fastest bobsled in town to the highest-flying kite, the Wright brothers’ creations were always a step ahead. They grew up learning all about ins and outs of mechanical things from fixing bicycles and working with their father. On December 17, 1903, Orville took off in the world’s first flying contraption in North Carolina. The Wright airplane is one of the most amazing–and life-changing inventions ever created.
