The Predator

Sharyn Cornett, a promising FBI agent working out of Charlotte, North Carolina, has all but put the murders of her parents behind her. That is, until, videos start surfacing of those connected getting beaten to death in one-on-one combat by a man who has notoriously dubbed himself as The Predator.

“The Predator” opens with a masked man justifying himself on camera before tearing apart an accomplice to an organ trafficking ring. “He broke the confines of our social construct. He gave up his right to live in a world of law and order. He instead, chose one of prey, and predator.”

This video makes for a big Tuesday morning in the FBI field office. The Predator had struck six different cities, killing at least five different people in each, and he uploaded every one of the mauling’s for the world to see. Now, in what appears to be his final debut, he has pitted himself directly against Sharyn’s sharp wits by choosing his victims based on their association with the organization responsible for her parents deaths. The story follows, both, the perspective of Sharyn and the Predator, showing that with each stride she makes toward catching him, it was him that manipulated her to take the action in the first place. Each time it proves to be a calculated assault on her moral character, forcing her to further question what justice really is. When those that killed her parents are finally pulled from the shadows and the Predator is unmasked, Sharyn won’t find an easy answer to whether retribution should come in the form of blood or bars.
