Beyond the Veil

Jacob Bradley Stevens wants nothing more than to make up for his troubled youth by doing well in college. Unfortunately for him, his first year of college is when he discovers that he is an oracle. Someone who can sense the thoughts left behind by people. These thoughts can be as recent as someone who has just walked passed, or as old as an alumni who graduated decades ago. When some of the thoughts connect a mysterious death on campus to a local fraternity, Jake must struggle with the choice of solving the mystery, or sticking to his academics.
