Within the law, increased criminalisation and pin-point repression combine with divide and rule. ‘Deviations’ are to be stamped-out.
But in some corners of the Union, there is Resistance.
A man and a woman; one an establishment insider and the other an outsider, fight against a system designed to remove freedom and identity.
I wrote this because I'm a fan of dystopian novels, including the greats such as 1984, We and Brave New World ... but please don't compare my efforts to their genius! I love Europe, but the EU seems to be Europe making the same old mistakes: and given recent events, an (even more) sinister EU fifty years from today does seem possible.
