This collection of stories is about a “lost” and “rescued” dog that came to live with an old lady in a small mid-Missouri town. The Missouri River runs by the town. The creek by our apartment runs a mile or two into the river.

Getting to know one another was a real adventure. Learning how to live in a small town instead of a huge city is a real adjustment for Lady Mei. My Lady is the name she gave the old lady that takes care of her and keeps her safe. These stories are about the adjustments made together and the adventures they had while doing it.
