The Eclipse

The ancient Greek gods are long gone, remembered only in legend. But sometimes, when not even looking, a trace of them can still be found. This is the story of one man who found something he never sought, but that changed his life forever. It seemed to only be a sleepy Greek isle, passed over by the tourist trade years before, but what lingered long after the tourists had left was a secret that had existed for far longer.

The eclipse was going to pass over the southern part of the island and he took an old bus, the only transportation on the island, to carry him to the best spot to photograph the Sun and shadows. But when he arrived, he found far more than just the Sun, he found history and mythology, intertwined in a way he hadn't expected and wasn't prepared to deal with.
