Sir Arthur Conan Doyle ( 1859 - 1930 ) was a Scottish physician and writer most famous for his stories about a detective named Sherlock Holmes.  The stories about Sherlock Holmes have made his name synonymous with detectives and have been made into movies and television shows.  A table of contents is also included.
