General Relativity as a Representation of Gravitation

This book is about General theory of Relativity; about how beautifully the theory explains the gravitational effects in a completely different way than Newtonian theory of Gravitation. General theory of Relativity uses the concept that gravitation is just the manifestation of space-time curvature. Therefore, development of the concept of space-time curvature, in brief of course, and also how it is treated to be the reason for gravitational effects will be the main goal of this book. This book assumes that the reader already know the basics of special theory of relativity and the Newtonian theory of gravitation. This book only develops the conceptual framework of the General theory of relativity and does not discuss the consequences of that theory, like: bending of light in gravitational field, precession of perihelion of mercury etc.
