This is the story of a person who was really fascinated by the idea of 3D printing, from the very first time he heard about it, until he went on to make one for himself over the summer of 2015. It was exciting, challenging and at times discouraging, but finally managed to make it against the odds to see the machine come alive and get his first 3D printed object. The author finds a special appreciation for the work of Professor Adrian Bowyer, who started the reprap project and Mr. Josef Prusa for his simple, yet elegant designs. Hope these short experiments with thought and work would inspire you to do something better.
