As the week unfolds, Oscar notes down his thoughts, and includes pictures to show you what these funny toys get up to. He even learns something important about his own fears, and about how much he really loves his unusual family.

This is a fun "read aloud" book for adults to enjoy reading to younger children. The story is brightly illustrated, and the chapters are fairly short and simple - ideal for newer readers to tackle.

For extra fun, Oscar includes a few puzzles after his diary entries. (WARNING - THESE MAY CONTAIN CARROTS!!!)
