Mara Logan finds herself kidnapped in Paris by handsome French billionaire, Stephane Garreau. She is held to ransom by her enigmatic and dominant captor to get back his ill sister from her ex fiancé before the man allows her to die from not receiving a life saving operation.

Mara finds out that the billionaire is attracted to her despite the grave situation they find themselves in. She attempts to fight her own attraction to him but quickly learns he is too powerful a man in all senses of the word to resist.
