Sand in My Mud: Misadventures on the Water

This is the story of one woman's aquatic misadventures, but it is also the story of her love of being either in or on or near the water.

The author was born and raised in the small city of Moose Jaw in the bald prairies of Saskatchewan, Canada. There isn’t much water around Moose Jaw, although there is a river or two and some man-made lakes. The author would grow up to eventually become a sailor, and would sail more than half-way around the world. As unlikely as this seems, it seems even more unlikely when one considers all the misadventures she had over the years, either in or on or near the water.
