The Medal of Honor

This is a theatre script about a poor man who enters a restaurant and will not be served a simple cup of coffee because he is disheveled and poor. In fact he is a hero and has been looked for so that he can receive a Congressional Medal of Honor.
If you wish to perform this play in a setting other than the United States you are invited to replace the Medal of Honor with the appropriate honours of your country, say the Victoria Cross, or the Legion d’Honneur.
The play is designed for a school or community setting and can be performed in about an hour.
