Love in Combat

From a woman's point of view, this military romance is told in a series of poems from the time they meet in high school to after he returns from the Vietnam War. Her reluctance to fall in love begins the tale. Her struggles while he is away is followed by his adjustment to civilian life with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Will they remain together, or will the aftermath of war break them apart?
