Description

What could have happened in South Africa before Apartheid actually took hold?
A shocking and exciting tale that gives a hint into what might have been.
This is a story of an ordinary white South African and his epiphany on what could and would happen as South Africa created its Apartheid laws and moved towards its own form of legalised racism.

Samuel Cove, store manager, survives the violent black African revolution in South Africa and becomes one of the new white underclass, experiencing racism and fear, but also discovering kindness and humanity in all humans.

This was written pre-apartheid as a warning to white people of what they feared could happen one day, and a plea to not continue down the path of oppressive and inhuman law making.

It provides a serious and thought provoking insight into the minds of anti-apartheid thinkers and writers at the time. It could never be published in South Africa during the apartheid years as this would have brought ruin to the author, and the manuscript has sat in a dusty box until discovery in 2012.
