The Road to Recovery of my Middle Class Life

The 2008 global financial crisis was directly responsible for my layoff in 2009. A long-time legal secretary, my job at a large law firm in San Diego, California was suddenly forfeit as the global crash began to take hold in a big way on America's economy and the middle class, specifically. Law firms in southern California as well as in other parts of the country filed bankruptcy, reorganized, restructured and did everything they could to keep their doors open. Unfortunately for us middle class employees in California and all over America, our jobs became inconsequential and tens of thousands of us worker bees and our families were affected by the economy. My book chronicles how the economic crisis affected my life for the following 6½ years.
