Very informative. I've been home-brewing for a few years now and would consider myself an intermediate-level home-brewer but still learning. With this in mind I didn't use it as much for the step-by-step explanations on how to get started in brewing (although it did provide in-depth instructions), but rather used it for advice on moving from extract to all-grain brewing. It definitely helped me get off on the right track. It really digs into some of the science behind the brewing process, but in a simple way so people understand the why and how instead of just following steps. There was also a lot of information and history about beer that I found interesting and hadn't known. This is a great book if you're looking for an all-encompassing reference about beer including beer history, ingredients, making your first batch, troubleshooting techniques, and some great sounding recipes. For the money, you can't beat it... SO BUY YOURS TODAY
