Men or Monsters? The Leaders of the Holocaust Exposed

***READ FREE WITH KINDLE UNLIMITED BONUS RIGHT AFTER CONCLUSION***

There is little doubt that the men who orchestrated the Holocaust were sick individuals with a passion for death and destruction. They believed that not all men, or even most were created equal and that the death of millions was an acceptable cost.

Read about the commandant of Auschwitz who tells in his own words about how he attempted to streamline his extermination process. While efficiency would normally be rewarded, in this case it was tragic.

There are accounts from guards who tell tales of the bravery of the Jews facing death who did not go quietly or without their dignity. There are stories to women who begged for the lives of their children in vein. They are hard accounts to read but necessary to understand just what they went through and how we should never face these days again.

In the face of death and hate there is love. Read about the grandson of a hated guard who would later be adopted by one of the survivors of his grandfather s camps. The level of love and forgiveness that had to be behind those actions is mind boggling and heartwarming.
There was horrors but even more so there was hope. Hope survives. We read these stories to remember the hate in order to never repeat those mistakes again.

Comments From Other Readers

I often find these stories hard to read. It s difficult to remember that such hatred has existed and still does exist in this world. When we live in great privilege it s easy to forget this but we never should. The horrors of the Holocaust may never be forgotten but the names often will be. There are so many stories that need to be told that we re hesitant to tell because they are difficult. I think it s fantastic that the author has taken on this subject no matter how hard. Sophia G. (Manitoba, Canada)

I never heard of some of these men before. I know in my school they talk about the Holocaust but it s not something that we spend much time on because the students find it hard to talk about. I got this book because I'm interested in what they were thinking about. I like that this isn t just the author writing but actual accounts from people who were there. That s the important part. It brings to life something that s hard for everyone to talk about. Joseph K. (New Mexico, United States)
