Fear of Heights: Exposure Therapy

Nathan Holmes is a successful therapist with a thriving practice, but he is haunted by the suicide of his wife, Hannah, who killed herself after struggling with a phobia. When Maeve Jeremiah comes to his office seeking treatment for a fear of heights, Nathan is startled by her strong resemblance to his dead wife. Driven by a mix of desperation and desire, Nathan treats Maeve with a form of exposure therapy. The plan is to expose Maeve to heights in a controlled way to help her overcome her phobia.

But Nathan finds himself on dangerous ground as he experiments with a radical new therapeutic approach. What if the client is exposed to their worst fear while simultaneously experiencing extreme physical pleasure ... with him?

As Nathan explores the edges of ethics and treatment, he confides in his own therapist, Ella Strickland. Ella struggles to maintain her professional composure as Nathan’s experiment grows alongside Ella’s concerns.
