The very existence of poetry, other than to entertain, is to provoke people to think. Think about a cause, a situation, or reasons for things. Many times these concepts are present in a metaphor and do not directly say the exact issue, leaving the interpretation in the hands of the reader. In this book, there are a variety of poems that will explore many different topics: birds, trees, sand....or is it really about these things.
