“I’m finished hanging the posters,” he said sheepishly.
“Mrs. Lancaster needs some help in her room. While you’re gone I’ll get your work ready. Come right back once you complete her tasks! Understood?”
“Yes, ma’am,” Chris said. He knew what work she was referring to, and he dreaded it! Upon his return he would be made to brush up on his math skills. He was not very good at arithmetic, and his wife knew this. The subject caused him endless frustration, so it was incorporated into his discipline regimen often.
“And when you are helping the other teachers, remember how you are to address them.”
Chris knew all too well. He was never to call them by their first names. As women, they were his superiors, but as educators they were over him, too. They were authority figures and he was to treat them with the proper respect.
“Yes, ma’am,” he said.
He walked through the halls of the school, making his way to the other side where Mrs. Lancaster’s room was. He passed several other teachers who smiled politely. Inside, Chris just kept thinking of how loud that diaper was! Everyone knew! They had to know!

Chris was having behavioral problems, and his teacher wife was fed up! Instead of letting him stay home all day by himself, she made him report to work with her while she prepared her classroom for the upcoming school year.
