During the reformation many truths that had been lost and hidden from the Church were rediscovered, embraced, and passed on to us today for our benefit. Unfortunately though, in some of the areas in which the Church did not receive light, traditions that had been believed during the dark ages of the Medieval church, were accepted as truth and passed on to us as well. Many of these 'truths' even up until our day are accepted as orthodox beliefs, and yet they often contradict the revelation of the glory of God as seen in his Son Jesus Christ, the express image of his person. As truth and grace is being increasingly revealed to the Church through Jesus Christ, and a clearer picture is being portrayed of God's person, these traditions mar the picture of God's countenance. This book is bringing these beliefs out of the shadows so they can be examined in the light of scripture to see if these things are really so.
