There is no love in the ghetto. Chris was positive of that. Being abused and neglected by his drug addict of a mother as a toddler had mentally and emotionally scarred him. Like most unguided black boys, he turned to selling dope to survive. He was ruthless in the streets, before he even hit puberty with a heart of stone, until he met his one weakness in the world. He was forced to change his old habits of putting himself first when he met the one woman he would risk it all for. She was his angel in the ghetto.

Kadence had endured her own share of pain. She came from a broken family and had been physically tormented throughout her childhood. Chris becomes her superman and the two of them set out on a journey where they are forced to continuously save each other from disloyal friends and family affairs that are trying to ruin them. Will it be enough or will the streets prevail in capturing their souls? As the hardships of life are tested and loyalty is questioned, Chris realizes that maybe he has been looking for happiness in all the wrong places and just maybe there is hope for a thug yet. With the help of Kadence, he tries to reform himself and just when life seems to cut him a break, the unthinkable happens.
