My Days with Kiran Bedi

'My Days with Kiran Bedi' is not a eulogy of Dr Kiran Bedi. It is a well-documented appreciation of my experience with her recounted with frankness, sincerity and reverence, and without flattery or fawning. The book is therefore easier to read; it is at once 'chatty' and personal without being impertinent.

There are no “abrasives” in these pages because Madam Bedi is by nature compassionate. But there are 'moles' and 'warts'— that go with any human being and she is no exception.
Being her pupil, I was exposed to certain qualities in her which make her what she is today— a simple human being with high thinking. I saw her as person full of integrity, energy, sense of purpose, pursuit of excellence, for making it in a male dominated society without losing her humane touch.

My association with her began in 2009. This book is a narrative that has come straight out of my heart. It is not a commissioned work prompted by her; on the contrary it contains the spontaneous impressions of an individual who has enjoyed every minute of interacting with her!
