Description
A murder mystery set in Stockholm during the nineteen nineties. A renowned climatologist is found dead on a ski slope. The police dismiss it as an accident. A close friend of the scientist suspects murder and starts asking questions. He is assisted by the stylish widow and a pert young meteorologist. The prime suspects are a government department and the nuclear industry. Even the environmentalists appear to be involved. The latest findings of the scientist could have damaged their interests. He was due to reveal these findings at the World Climate Conference. No record of what he was going to say had been kept. His computer was missing. The police eventually begin to take action, but their interest is mainly directed towards the enquirers themselves They suspect a love affair between the widow and the friend of her husband, which is partly true. The intervention of the young meteorologist disrupts that affair though.
