Everything's a Translation: Literary Translation as a Meta-Discipline and Practice: Kelly A. Martin, Ph.D.

Translation is a meta-discipline of interpretation. Thus, this book is an attempt to bring the theories and practices of literary translation to the forefront of interdisciplinary studies and pedagogies. In fact, this work integrates rhetoric and new media studies to support its purpose, as well as theories, scholarship, and/or practices related to literary translation, film adaptation, Derridean deconstruction, and remediation, to name but a few. Indeed, we can reconsider these concentrations in light of translation and reconsider translation in light of them, while developing a heuretics and hermeneutics built on translation.
