Thesis to be

It has been a long journey for me in the professional world for over 38 years. After retirement it occurred to me that time is ripe to collect bits and pieces of the known and seemingly known world and put the experiences and thoughts together in coherent perspective for a reading. The turn of the century brought in a new world of expectation and anticipation. Disenchantment also came to the fore with severe consequences. Readers will experience commonness and at the same time some food for thought. A desire to leave behind a footprint is not uncommon. Questions unanswered keep on chasing us and the quest for the same remain. A village lad, Amartya moved into the world of the learned, the journey through life brought in challenges one after another. The world has become small but distinctly different between the world of the child, the world of the adult and the world of the elders. The question loomed in, will he ever be able to fathom the mystery that has confronted humanity for so long; the quest begins.
