No Internet, no email, no smartphones. Societal chaos has ensued.
Adam’s top personal concern is neither the economy’s collapse, nor the increase in crime, nor the skyrocketing unemployment that claimed his job. Rather, he’s on a 1,000 mile journey to Sarasota, Florida, in a desperate search for a woman with whom he struck a long-distance online relationship. Having only communicated with Anna via digital methods for three months and with no means to contact her anymore, he’s left with only small shreds of “clues” as to where to find her. Along the way, he encounters strangers with surprisingly varied reactions to the Internet's death.
Once in Sarasota, will Adam find Anna and rekindle their budding relationship they had started online and propel it into "real life"?
