Eagle in the Owl's Nest

Tooksaquin is a migrating owl from the north. She lets the wind guide her wings to the southwest over the Salish Sea where she finds different birds and other creatures that she’s never seen before. She quickly learns the beauty and dangers of her new habitation when a protective eagle named Owatin befriends her. With his help she learns about his homeland and succumbs to his curiosity.

Love, courage, inner-strength, plus many things beautiful and unexpected, Eagle in the Owl's Nest will transport the reader to the west coast of British Columbia, where the spirituality of native art comes alive and is experienced – and personified from a “bird's eye view”.

Canadian Indigenous, west coast fine art by master carver Sanford Williams are permissibly recreated as a collection of fictional short stories by his wife Marlana Williams.
