A northern industrial town, England, 1985. Crepehill School is a disaster waiting to happen. Then it has a terrible inspection and doesn’t have to wait any longer. Cut to 10 years later and it has been converted into The Scragg Institute, a state-of-the-art, private facility for the super-intelligent children of super-rich parents. What isn’t so super are the fees that these young geniuses have to pay. The things these kids can do is frankly scary. Unfortunately, the things they can’t do, like hold a normal conversation, is also scary. What they need is someone to show them how to relate to normal people. What they get is a self-appointed leader. A man with no name. A man with no brain. A man simply known as ‘Dosser.’
Dosser plots revenge on the owner of the Institute. It involves pictures, complex calculations and greyhounds. Lots of greyhounds.
