Ride sharing business has become a popular trend in the United States, as well as in many other countries around the world. In some cases, it is the best alternative to owning a car or taking an expensive taxi ride.
However, giving a ride from the driver’s point of view is a completely different experience as compared to taking a simple ride to the airport. These series of short stories based on actual events are part of every driver’s daily life.
The author had the pleasure of working for one of the ride sharing company to confirm the displeasure of family and friends’ accounts for driving for one or multiple ride sharing companies. To a naked eye as a passenger, the typical mind set is “customer is always right”. In reality, the human side of the ride sharing is revealed and the burden of giving a ride is carried by the driver alone.
