20g of Thermochromic Temperature Activated Pigment Powder - Heat Sensitive Color Changing Powder for Slime, Paint, Resin, Epoxy, Nail Polish, Ink, Screen Printing, Fabric Art, Casting (Blue) /

This thermochromatic pigment is a fine powder that can be added to a variety of base materials to form color-changing paints. The pigment reacts to temperature. When it is less than 88⁰F, the pigment is colored. When the temperature increases above 88⁰F, the pigment itself turns a soft white color, but if dissolved in a clear base, it appears to turn clear!

This pigment is great for use in many DIY projects, including heat-sensitive mugs and dishware, secret messages, mood rings, nail polish, slime/goo, or whatever you can imagine!

Instructions:

Add pigment to a clear base and mix well. The base can be clear nail polish, acrylic medium, or ink medium. The pigment can also be added to colored bases, if desired. Keep in mind that mixing generates heat which may temporarily change the color of the mixture. It is recommended to start with a very small amount of pigment and add more until the desired color is achieved. A ratio of 1 part pigment to 20 parts base is a good starting point.

Note: Actual color of product may vary slightly due to variation in the way each screen displays colors. Additionally, keep in mind the pigment changes based on temperature, so if it arrives warm, simply place it in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes to return it to its cold color.
