STMicroelectronics TIP120 TO-220 NPN Power Darlington Transistor 12 Pack

The devices are manufactured in planar technology with "base island" layout and monolithic Darlington configuration. The resulting transistors show exceptional high gain performance coupled with very low saturation voltage. Ideal for applications to control medium to high-power electronics such as motors, solenoids, or 1 watt or higher LEDs. The TIP120 can switch maximum 60V at peak currents of 8A (not continuously) and a continuous current of 5A, with a DC gain of approximately 1000.
